My personal motto is “Do not judge others." A young child does not judge; he does not live by social norms or rules. That way of thinking only lasts a short amount of time.
Eventually, these kids are trained in school to “stay within the lines.” The magic ends there. I intend to use my art as a way of finding my own inner child, my own magic. I return to this world through my paintings, my stories. Magic is a bridge that connects the invisible with the visible. Fairy tales were the first experience of this magical universe. I have been asked many times why human beings end up distancing themselves from this magical world, knowing the immense happiness childhood has brought to their lives.
My art is a combination of figurative and abstract styles. It is a challenge to paint exactly “as I am” and play with the depths of emotions, perceptions, feelings and personal experiences as a way of letting it all out from the inside. While I paint, I awaken the innocence of my childhood and submerge myself in the freedom that allows me to be a young girl once again and break free from the complexity of the adult world for a moment. I like to paint to leave a print, a testimony of "being alive".The whole idea of my art is to say things visually.
I appeal to the innocence of my childhood, once submerged and reunited the freedom it offers being a child again, releases me from the more complex self adult I do not have complete plan prior to painting but rather discover myself on the canvas then, analyze and understand ,finally agreeing upon an appropriate name for those emotions I try to find my inner core and reflect my likeness and image on my painting’s leaving a testimony to having been alive.
I create painting’s as complex as life, environments authentic and nourishing that explode when exposed to light where you can visually come and go as you and please and each time experience an essence of something new, as life is, always in motion.
I enjoy exploring through my paintings over and over. I want to express the sensuality of life, everything that is there and speaks to us without words, nature, and the complexity of human relations with a bit of sarcasm and humor, as I am.
I intend to reflect a personal search for the true meaning of life. I intend to make the invisible visible and the intangible tangible. I want to capture experiences, relationships, deep emotions, and how everything affects our existence. I am interested in the internal and spiritual part of our lives and how everything is physically connected, also. I want my paintings to be a vehicle that transports people to a world of greater imagination and spiritual senses. The idea is to experience something different every time you look at my work, pieces that are always in motion, just like life.
I paint what I feel, not what I see. I paint with my intuition.

Her knowledge of Graphic Design has been the foundation of her serious and constant work thus achieving compositions with a perfect balance between form, color and space. She produces a peculiar Neo-figuration, overflowing with a universe of characters, almost (or completely) self-contained, often human-like, which the artist draws as She works.
Roberto Vega Masso , professor in World History and Academic Director of Finis Terrae Chilean University, said:
The project named PASSION by Isabel Brinck resolves the question in a very extraordinary way to the point where we are allowed to see her spirit. And why does she achieve this? Simply because her question isn't more than an excuse to keep doing with a PASSION what keeps pushing her in life and moves her sincerely which is: To Paint.
Isabel works predominantly in the medium of oil painting. Her use of color is a celebration of light that continually delights the eye and engages the mind.
Chilean born, Isabel Brinck graduated with honors in Graphic Design from the University of Chile and worked in this field for many years.
